The Choice of Political Party

The world sees us, Hispanics, as admirable people, not only because of our interesting cultural heritage, but also because we have this very strong and fervent belief in God.  We Hispanics value family more than anything, and we are warriors against the destruction of the unborn. This being said, I am trying to understand why Hispanics were usually found to prefer the Democratic Party during election. Even with the deep sense of family values and love for God, we almost always choose leaders from a party that is known to be anti family, anti-religion, and for abortion.

According to my personal observation and analysis, many Hispanics were merely made to think the wrong thing. For instance, entitlement programs and other classes, which everyone thinks is a great way to sharpen your mind, are offered for free.

Authentic success is brought about by the ability to compete in the U.S. market place. Since English is the official language, Hispanics should know how to read and understand the need to communicate in English. Therefore, if I speak English quite well, then I have greater chances of succeeding.

I can sense that our deep cultural roots are slowly fading. We may still worship the same god. We may still value the same traditions. But we definitely are evolving in terms of our choice of leaders. And pretty soon, everything else will change.  So when you vote, think about how you might be letting go of your very own culture. I rest my case.
